We’ve created a range of very affordable buildings that are intended for the garden… called “Sojourn in the garden”, they are based on the same design principles as the homes we build, they’re just made to be much simpler to assemble and much more affordable… ideal as garden rooms.

Using only natural and recycled materials, they are probably the most sustainable garden rooms on the market.

We aim to simplify the entire customisation, manufacturing and installation process whilst ensuring the finished building is exactly as expected and built to the highest quality.

You may have recognised that there’s a bit of a Scandi look to our designs. However, if you are looking for something different, we can offer a bespoke interior design service for which we would charge a design/customisation fee of 15% on the cost of the internal finishes and fittings.

ground screw foundations

Our buildings sit on steel ground screws that are supplied and installed by No More Digging. They take no more than a day to install and there’s no (high-carbon) concrete in the ground.
timber frame

All of the timber used in the construction of our buildings is FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified with waste being collected by our recycling partners Emerge.
natural/recycled insulation

We use 150mm SupaSoft (recycled plastic bottles) - this super eco material is vapour permeable, very snug and fantastic for the environment. Sheep’s wool is an upgrade option.
precise detailing

We ensure our garden buildings are detailed and (factory) built to the same high quality as our permanent homes - they will perform to exactly the same standards.
high performance membranes

To allow the building to “breathe” and avoid condensation and mould issues, we use very high quality vapour control membranes for the roof and walls
aluminium-timber windows

The high quality Velfac doors and windows (that include sliding doors) comprise of an aluminium clad timber frame - double glazing is standard but we can offer triple glazed too.
laminate walls & ceiling

The internal walls and ceiling lined are in a pale maple finish with white being an alternative option. We can also provide an economy option of an OSB (orientated strand board) finish.
recycled carpet

A stylish yet very durable finish to the space, it’s made using recycled nylon yarn and achieves Cradle to Cradle Certified® Bronze and Indoor Air Comfort Gold standards.
wallpapered end walls

Choose any of the wallpaper designs from Miss Print for this optional wall finish - all papers are from a PEFC certified source and only vegetable inks are used.
